Retouching

A retouch in which I added makeup where no makeup existed. My aim for this was to make the model appear younger and to add a warmth to her features. Lines and wrinkles were removed and her lips and ear were reshaped. I changed the model's harsh look to a very inviting one.

A very dramatic change. Major reconstruction was done here. An outdated hairstyle was traded in for this modern look. Skin tones, texture and blotchiness were smoothed and warmed. The nose was reshaped. The lips had a stiff feel to them , so I reshaped them giving a softer appeal. The eyebrows were reshaped giving this model a cleaner, more polished look.

This cliffside image was dull, colorless and has little contrast. I decided to give it a specific hard style that is normally associated with a Lomo camera. I recreated this style without a Lomo camera and using only Photoshop.

The original image was incredibly dark and almost unusable. Here, changes have been made bringing out details such as those in the stone blowl that could not be previously seen. A lime also seemed to be out of place and was removed. The guacamole, by the way, was delicious.

Colorization

A very natural colorization.

Before mousing over this one, try to guess what color you think her dress might be. I'm not sure if the color I chose was the original color, but I can almost detect a slight hue even in this completely grayscale image.

I enjoy colorizing images like this. Again, with no frame of referrence, the housing to this speaker could be almost any color. I have strong suspicions that it is a silver color, but I took it in a different direction with very nice retro-flavored results. Note the natural look of the reflection.
